With England's disappointing showing at the 2010 World Cup, not to mention the other home countries inability to qualify, questions are being asked as to the need for change at grass roots level. We believe that investing now in future generations will provide opportunities for children to participate in sport and overcome current barriers to entry.
There is a critical funding shortage in children's grass roots sports clubs and infant schools throughout the UK, with too much money and emphasis being placed at the top level of sport.
Whilst volunteers admirably give their time and often resources to support local clubs and schools, too many communities simply can’t raise sufficient funding to provide adequate participation or sports development opportunities for interested children.
Similarly parents are struggling to provide the necessary equipment to allow their children to participate in sport, and fully develop their potential.
Our grass roots partnership scheme has been designed to support the development of grass roots sport in the UK. We do this by providing a sustainable equipment and funding stream for grass roots organisations, so they can improve their finance and provide improved coaching, equipment and facilities for all our nation’s children.
Do you want to directly help 1,000 UK children play grass roots sport every year?
Companies, large corporations, professional sports clubs, professional players and individual philanthropists can all play a part in making a real difference. We aim to partner with organisations and people that recognise the impact a combined CSR/Marketing campaign can generate, allowing them to donate boots with their brand on to clubs, leagues, schools, charities or other groups of their choice.
We offer to brand our partners logo or name onto the crest of each boot they purchase. This is done at source, using a high quality, heat embossed transfer that ensures permanent brand recognition.
The boots may be donated for free distribution by grass roots sports organisations or may be deliberately donated for re-sale by the clubs to their children’s parents at a cost of £5-10 per pair
